Articles of Wonder contain a list of essays which I believe are at least very close to truth. The subjects addressed contain information which the Holy Bible seems to be saying. But alas, the information is sometimes incomplete, or my understanding of the subject is less than perfect, or perhaps my faith is not yet great enough to believe the essays with an attitude of 100% absolute certainty. In other words, these are things about which I wonder. They surely seem to be pointing to a truth, but with a part of my human mind, I still wonder.

  • The essay entitled 40 Days explains how the world prior to the flood was vastly different from what most of us have imagined, and certainly vastly different from our world today. What if we were told that our own world of today is vastly different – even at this present time – from what most of us perceive it to be? What if we were to...

  • What is “HARPAZO”? Harpazo is a Greek word meaning “to seize upon with force.” When translating this word into English, we use the phrase “snatch up” or “caught up.” Harpazo is the Greek word used in Acts 8:39 where Philip was “caught away” and the eunuch saw him no more. The common term used by most modern day professing Christians when...

  • Who is the bridegroom? Who is the bride? Even a cursory look into the teachings of the New Testament, tells us that Yeshua chose the analogy of bride and bridegroom concerning himself and the church. Jewish custom was that after the bride and bridegroom were betrothed, and prior to the consummation of the marriage, the bridegroom would spend...

  • What does God’s word have to say about the flood of Noah? Was it truly a global flood which destroyed all life, or was it a localized flood which affected only a part of our globe? How did a flood destroy all fish and aquatic life? Did Noah really build a big boat? From where did all the water come to cover the Earth? Where did all the...

  • Many of us in our formative years heard about and were taught about the streets of gold in Heaven. Often this teaching even came from some church service or Sunday school class. But in all the number of times this information has been passed on to us or to young children or to new converts, not once did the teaching include accurate...

  • This article will serve – as the title implies – to introduce to us several pieces of information or ideas. We will not have a specific topic or a specific order of topics, but simply a list of items that are hopefully of some interest. These items might hopefully serve the purpose of whetting our appetites that we will be compelled to go in...

  • Most of us are aware that Methuselah is known as the oldest man in the Holy Bible. Most of us assume that this is an easily provable bit of Biblical knowledge. It would certainly seem, on the surface, that this is indeed the case and that such proof would be quite easy to establish. However, if we look deeper and if we are willing to believe...

  • Both the nation and the city of Babylon get a lot of press in the Holy Bible. In a few instances, Babylon is mentioned prominently in prophecy in relation to the end times. It seems that Babylon will play a leading role in the end time scenario just prior to the gathering of Armies at Megiddo (Armageddon). Earlier in this book we pointed to...
