Most people don’t really want the truth. They’re just looking for answers that confirm their prejudices.

I'd like to see that land beyond the (North) Pole. That area beyond the Pole is the Center of the Great Unknown.
— Admiral Richard E. Byrd
The essay entitled 40 Days explains how the world prior to the flood was vastly different from what most of us have imagined, and certainly vastly different from our world today. What if we were told that our own world of today is vastly different – even at this present time – from what most of us perceive it to be? What if we were to discover that our concept of the Planet Earth is decidedly different from what the actual Planet Earth truly and entirely represents? In this chapter we will explore some possibilities concerning our present day world. These possibilities are perhaps more than simple possibilities; they are perhaps Biblically supported truths that very few of us have truly considered. Let’s now consider our world of today.
We all remember the story of Cain and Abel. Cain and Abel both took sacrifices/offerings to their Creator. It seems that Abel took a sin offering by which he acknowledged his own human lacking. Cain’s offering was of the “fruit of the ground,” and was likely a grain offering or a “thank” offering. It seems perhaps that Cain did not acknowledge his own shortcomings to his Creator. We do know that God was not pleased with Cain, but he was pleased with Abel and with Abel’s offering. Cain then became jealous of his brother Able. Cain then KILLED his brother Abel. After facing God with the crime which he had committed against his own brother, Cain was punished by God. Let’s read the Biblical record of that crime and of the punishment handed down by God the Creator.
Genesis 4:8-16 – And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
We then read that Cain was the builder of a city:
Genesis 4:17 -- And knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
What have we learned here? We learned that Cain committed a very grievous crime and then he was punished by The Creator. Cain told his Creator that, “My punishment is greater than I can bear.” We read that after his sentence was handed down, Cain “dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.” We then read that later Cain was the builder of a city. Do we need to ask ourselves just exactly why Cain thought that his “punishment was greater than he could bear”? It could seem that he went on to have a good life. It could seem that he wandered about, got married, had a son, and built an entire city. How, we might ask, was that punishment? Let’s look closer at the words fugitive and vagabond.
According to Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, fugitive can mean “likely to disappear”; vagabond can mean “leading an irresponsible or disreputable life.” The original Hebrew words from which fugitive and vagabond were translated have meanings that are very similar to each other. From the Hebrew, fugitive would mean to “be gone away,” and vagabond would mean “to flee or disappear.” If Cain was to be gone away and to flee or disappear, then how could he have been so visible as to have built a city east of Eden? Let’s look closer at the wording of his sentence from God. Cain was to be a fugitive or a vagabond IN the Earth. Cain was driven from the face of the Earth. Did we read that correctly? Was Cain to live INSIDE the Earth? We can see that is certainly what God’s word says, can’t we?
So if Cain was to be INSIDE the Earth, what can we surmise from this? Can we not conclude a couple of things from that idea? One – the Earth must be at least partially hollow. And two – since Cain’s city was east of Eden, then Eden must also be INSIDE the Earth! Can that be correct? Do we have additional evidence of such a thing? Yes, we have both other Biblical evidence and we have modern day secular evidence.
Admiral Byrd was a well known figure during the thirties, forties, and fifties, of the twentieth century. He flew over, and by some accounts into an opening at the North Pole. He also explored the South Pole. There are also accounts of his having flown INTO an opening at the South Pole. Some of the literary history concerning Admiral Byrd has been shown to be exaggerated and in some cases it is simply fabrication. Such published lies do not remove the well documented truth concerning the mysteries and the government enforced secrecies which surround Admiral Byrd’s expeditions. MUCH of the record concerning Admiral Byrd has been confiscated and kept hidden by the government. Much of the remaining available information certainly seems to be quite true. In addition to the two polar explorations mentioned above, Admiral Byrd led a military expedition of over 4000 men and a vast amount of military heavy equipment to the Antarctic in 1947. A large percentage of the men and the equipment never returned; the public was never given an explanation. Overall, the amount of time, money, equipment and personnel to “explore” the Antarctic since World War II rivals or exceeds the time and human energy used to explore the moon. And numerous countries have been involved in such huge undertakings; it seems that there is certainly something involved other than mere “weather research” on these explorations and expeditions.
I have read that during the time of Admiral Byrd’s expeditions, there were radio reports of his discovery of the “land beyond the polls”, and even that the “World News” (which was routinely shown before the main feature in movie theaters during that era) reported such findings in theaters across America. At this time (2006), there are still people living who report that they remember these news clips which were shown in movie theaters.
We should also point out that Nazi Germany consisted of numerous powerful members who were zealous adherents to the belief and study of the legends concerning a hollow Earth and the Antarctic area of our Earth. Some researchers have even concluded that Hitler escaped to the Earth’s interior by going to Antarctica. It is reported that the Hollow Earth Research Society in Ontario, Canada claims that after World War II, the Allies discovered that more than 2,000 scientists from Germany and Italy had vanished, along with almost a million people. There was significant evidence which indicated that their escape was to the land beyond the South Pole.
Should we be so inclined, it is a simple matter to discover the vast amount of literature devoted to the notion that the Earth is indeed hollow. A search of any sizeable library or of the internet will provide a copious number of titles dealing with the logical evidence, theories, and legends of a hollow Earth. And lest we think that such a hollow Earth theory consists only of hollowness in someone’s thinking, let’s not ignore the fact that various and sundry astronomers have concluded that several of the moons within our solar system are hollow.
The following is the reported last entry into Admiral Byrd’s personal diary.
30/12/56: FINAL ENTRY:
These last few years elapsed since 1947 have not been kind...I now make my final entry in this singular diary. In closing, I must state that I have faithfully kept this matter secret as directed all these years. It has been completely against my values of moral right. Now, I seem to sense the long night coming on and this secret will not die with me, but as all truth shall, it will triumph and so it shall.
This can be the only hope for mankind. I have seen the truth and it has quickened my spirit and has set me free! I have done my duty toward the monstrous military industrial complex. Now, the long night begins to approach, but there shall be no end. Just as the long night of the Arctic ends, the brilliant sunshine of Truth shall come again....and those who are of darkness shall fall in it's Light...FOR I HAVE SEEN THAT LAND BEYOND THE POLE, THAT CENTER OF THE GREAT UNKNOWN.

Let’s now return to other scriptural evidence that there is something IN the Earth other than dirt or molten iron. Let’s begin this thought with some scriptures from the Apostle Peter which discuss what Jesus did during his three days in eternity.
I Peter 3:18-20 – For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
Do we have any clue as to the location of the prison in which these disobedient spirits were locked? For the answer as to the location of the spiritual prison, let’s now read another passage from the Apostle Peter, and also a scripture from Jude, the brother of Jesus.
II PETER 2:4 – For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell (tartaroo), and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Jude 1:6 – And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
From the above verses we can know that the imprisoned spirits are in hell (tartaroo in the Greek) and that they are in chains under darkness. Before we discuss just exactly what is meant by “hell” or tartaroo, let’s read a few verses of Revelation which provide us some information on the ABYSS.
Revelation 9:1-11 – And, the fifth messenger, sounded; and I saw a star, out of heaven, fallen unto the earth, and there was given unto him the key of the shaft of the abyss. And he opened the shaft of the abyss; and there came up a smoke out of the shaft, as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened, by reason of the smoke of the shaft. And, out of the smoke, came forth, locusts, upon the earth; and there was given unto them licence, as the scorpions of the earth have licence. And it was bidden them that they should not injure the herbage of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree,––but only the men who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads. And it was given unto them, that they should not slay them, but that they should be tormented five months; and, the torture of them, was as of a scorpion’s torture, whensoever it smiteth a man. And, in those days, shall men seek death, and in nowise shall find it, and shall covet to die, and death fleeth from them. And, the likenesses of the locusts, were like unto horses prepared for battle; and, upon their heads, as it were crowns, like unto gold, and, their faces, were as the faces of men, and, they had hair, as the hair of women, and, their teeth, were, as of lions, and they had breastplates as breastplates of iron, and, the sound of their wings, was as the sound of chariots of many horses, running into battle; and they have tails like unto scorpions, and stings, and, in their tails, is their licence to injure men five months. They have over them, as king, the messenger of the abyss, whose name, in Hebrew, is Abaddon[["=Destroyer"]], and, in the Greek, he hath for name, Destroyer.
The above verses provide a discussion of some of the events which will take place during the last seven years before the return of Jesus as the Conquering King. Let’s now read a description of Satan’s fate during the millennial reign of Jesus the Christ.
Revelation 20:1-3 – And I saw a messenger, coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain upon his hand; and he laid hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is Adversary and the Accuser, and bound him for a thousand years,–– and cast him into the abyss, and fastened and sealed it over him,––that he might not deceive the nations any more, until the thousand years, should be ended: after these, must he be loosed for a short time.
We have now learned from the above scriptures that spiritual beings are imprisoned in the ABYSS, and that the ABYSS or “hell” is called tartaroo in Greek, and that it is dark. We are now ready to discuss just exactly what the ABYSS is, and just exactly what hell is. Let’s begin by talking about hell.
Regardless of what we may have heard in various sermons during the last few centuries, the real definition of HELL as referred to in the King James Translation of the Holy Bible is somewhat different than what most people conceive HELL to be. There are actually three different words used in the New Testament of the Holy Bible which are all translated as HELL. But the kicker is that all three of these words do not at all mean the same thing. Thus the idea of translating all three words as HELL – at least with the commonly accepted meaning of the word in today’s world – is quite a mistake. Let’s look at the three different words.
The words are Gehenna, hades, and tartaroo. Tartaroo is used only once in scripture and it refers to the fate of and to the imprisoned location of spiritual beings. Gehenna was simply a garbage dump outside the city of Jerusalem. Hades can mean grave, or death, or “the realm of the dead.” The Online Bible Hebrew Lexicon lists the definitions as follows:
1067 geenna geenna gheh’-en-nah – of Hebrew origin Mnh-ayq, 01516 and 02011; TDNT-1:657,113; n f
AV-hell 9, hell fire + 3588 + 4442 3; 12
1) Hell is the place of the future punishment call "Gehenna" or "Gehenna of fire". This was originally the valley of Hinnom, south of Jerusalem, where the filth and dead animals of the city were cast out and burned; a fit symbol of the wicked and their future destruction.
86 Adhv hades hah’-dace – from 1 (as negative particle) and 1492; TDNT-1:146,22; n pr loc
AV-hell 10, grave 1; 11
1) name Hades or Pluto, the god of the lower regions
2) Orcus, the nether world, the realm of the dead
3) later use of this word: the grave, death, hell
In Biblical Greek it is associated with Orcus, the infernal regions, a dark and dismal place in the very depths of the earth, the common receptacle of disembodied spirits. Usually Hades is just the abode of the wicked, #Lu 16:23; Re 20:13,14; a very uncomfortable place. TDNT.
5020 tartarow tartaroo tar-tar-o’-o – from Tartaros (the deepest abyss of Hell); ; v
AV-cast down to hell 1; 1
1) the name of the subterranean region, doleful and dark, regarded by the ancient Greeks as the abode of the wicked dead, where they suffer punishment for their evil deeds; it answers to Gehenna of the Jews
2) to thrust down to Tartarus, to hold captive in Tartarus
We note that Gehenna, the Jerusalem garbage dump normally and typically had a fire burning. This was a fire which consumed garbage thrown into the dump. When the garbage was burnt, the fire extinguished itself. It is strange, is it not, that none of these three words ever refer to, nor are they in any way defined by an “ever burning and unquenchable lake of fire”? But they do refer to a deep abyss, and to a subterranean region, and to a dark and dismal place in the very depths of the Earth. Have we heard this in any Sunday morning sermon? Let’s not forget, though, the Old Testament. How does the Old Testament describe hell?
There is one word in the Old Testament Hebrew which is translated as hell. That word is sheol. The word sheol also has various translations into English. Sheol is translated 31 times as “grave”, 31 times as “hell” and 3 times as “pit.” Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon refers to this word as meaning a “subterranean retreat,” while both the New American Standard Hebrew Lexicon and the Online Bible Hebrew Lexicon refer to sheol as the underworld. We can see the three entries below.
Online Bible Hebrew Lexicon:
07585 lwav sh@’owl sheh-ole’ or lav sh@ol sheh-ole’
AV-grave 31, hell 31, pit 3; 65
1) sheol, underworld, grave, hell, pit
1a) the underworld
1b) Sheol-the OT designation for the abode of the dead
1b1) place of no return
1b2) without praise of God
1b3) wicked sent there for punishment
1b4) righteous not abandoned to it
1b5) of the place of exile (fig)
1b6) of extreme degradation in sin
Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon:
07585. lwav sh@’owl sheh-ole’; or lav sh@ol sheh-ole’; from 07592; Hades or the world of the dead (as if a subterranean retreat), including its accessories and inmates:— grave, hell, pit.
New American Standard Hebrew Lexicon:
07585. lwav sheol or lav sheol (982d); of unc. der.; underworld (place to which people descend at death):—
1 : the bottomless pit in old accounts of the universe
2 : an immeasurable depth
1 : the bottomless gulf, pit, or chaos of the old cosmogonies
2 a : an immeasurably deep gulf or great space b : intellectual or moral depths
We’ve looked now at the Biblical meanings of the Hebrew and Greek words which were translated as “hell” in English. The word “abyss” turned up at least once in the lexicon definitions, and the word “abyss” certainly shows up in the Holy Bible on a few occasions. But just what, exactly, does the word “abyss” mean? We’ve probably all heard that an abyss is a bottomless pit. Well, okay….but how can we have a bottomless pit? Doesn’t everything have a bottom – somewhere? Let’s look closer at the definition of the word abyss. From a couple of different Merriam-Webster Dictionaries we can obtain the definitions for abyss as shown in the table on the right.
We can see from these definitions that abyss doesn’t have to mean “bottomless pit”; it can also mean “an immeasurable depth.” So, we ask ourselves, what’s the difference? If you cannot measure the depth, is it not bottomless? Or perhaps “immeasurable depth” is simply a philosophical term from ancient times. But let’s consider this idea which I’ve heard Dr. Chuck Missler mention on a few occasions. If the abyss is indeed in the bowels of the Earth, and if we were actually at the pit of the abyss, would it have a bottom? Let’s think about that. If we were at the center or the pit of the ABYSS and the ABYSS is the interior of the Earth, then every way we look would be UP. There would be no DOWN, because we would be at the center of the spherical Earth and all directions would be UP! Just as at the North Pole where all directions are south, if we were at the center of the Earth, everything would be up. If everything is UP, is there a bottom? If there is no bottom, then it is bottomless. Where else in the universe, other than the interior of the Earth, could we have a bottomless pit? Only from the center of the Earth are all directions up, but at the same time, from the center of the Earth there is no bottom! Have we located the ABYSS? Do we now know where tartaroo is located? Do we now know what hell really is?
Let’s continue now with additional evidence as to the location of the Garden of Eden. What do we know about the Garden of Eden? We do not know much, but we do know that the Garden of Eden is the location of the TREE of LIFE. Let’s remember that as we consider the following information – the TREE of LIFE is in the Garden of Eden.
Luke 16:19-31 – Now, a certain man, was rich, and he used to clothe himself with purple and fine linen, making merry day by day, brilliantly. And, a certain beggar, by name Lazarus, used to be cast near his gate, full of sores, and to long to be fed from the crumbs that fell from the table of the rich man: nay! even, the dogs, used to come and lick his sores. And it came to pass that the beggar died, and was carried away by the messengers, into the bosom of Abraham. And, the rich man also, died, and was buried. And, in hades (“the grave” or “the depths of the Earth”), lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And, he, calling out, said––Father Abraham! have mercy upon me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue,––because I am in anguish in this flame. But Abraham said––Child! remember––That thou didst duly received thy good things in thy life, and, Lazarus, in like manner, the evil things; but, now, here, he is comforted, and, thou, art in anguish. And, besides all these things, betwixt us and you, a great chasm, hath been fixed,––so that, they who might wish to cross over from hence unto you, should not be able, nor any, from thence unto us, be crossing over. But he said––I request thee then, father, that thou wouldst send him unto my father’s house,–– for I have five brethren; ––that he may solemnly testify unto them, lest, they also, come into this place of torment. But Abraham saith––They have Moses and the Prophets: Let them hearken unto them. But, he, said––Nay! father Abraham, but, if one, from the dead, should go unto them, they would repent. But he said unto him––If, unto Moses and the Prophets, they do not hearken, neither, if one, from among the dead, should arise, would they be persuaded.
Here we read the story of Lazarus and the rich man. Let’s notice that the rich man was in HADES and that the meaning of hades is the grave or the “depths of the Earth.” We notice that from the depths of the Earth the rich man lifted UP his eyes (perhaps the ONLY way he could look was UP) and he saw Abraham. Lazarus was in Abraham’s bosom. We might note that one of the meanings of bosom as used here is “the hollow formed by the upper forepart of a rather loose garment bound by a girdle or sash, used for keeping, protecting, and carrying things (the fold or pocket).” So we know that Abraham was keeping Lazarus safe. And we know that the rich man had to look UP from the depths of the Earth to see him. If we were in the depths or center of a hollow Earth and we looked up, what would we see? We would see the inside surface of the Earth, wouldn’t we?
Did not Jesus tell the thief on the cross that he was going to paradise? Paul also spoke of Paradise in his second letter to the Corinthians.
Luke 23:43 – and Jesus said to him, ‘Verily I say to thee, To-day with me thou shalt be in the paradise.’
II Corinthians 12:4 – that he was caught away to the paradise, and heard unutterable sayings, that it is not possible for man to speak.
Are we given any Biblical information as to the location of paradise? Perhaps we are told where it is by the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation.
Revelation 2:7 – He who is having an ear—let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies: To him who is overcoming—I will give to him to eat of the tree of life that is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Now what do we know about the location of paradise? We know that the dead in Jesus go to paradise (at least they did prior to the resurrection). We know that Abraham protects the faithful in his bosom – which must therefore be the same thing as paradise. We thus know that paradise (if it is synonymous with Abraham’s bosom) can be seen from the depths of the Earth. We know from Revelation 2:7 as shown above that paradise is the location of the Tree of Life. We know that the Tree of Life is in the Garden of Eden. Can we conclude from these data that the Garden of Eden is on the interior surface of a hollow Earth? Let’s read the definitions of paradise as the word was used by the writers of the New Testament. We’ll look at definitions from three Greek lexicons.
Strong’s Greek Lexicon -- 3857. paradeisov paradeisos par-ad’-i-sos; of Oriental origin [compare 06508]; a park, i.e. (specifically) an Eden (place of future happiness, "paradise"):— paradise.
New American Standard Greek Lexicon -- 3857. paradeisov paradeisos; of Pers. or. (enclosure); a park, a garden, a paradise:—
Online Bible Greek Lexicon -- 3857 paradeisov paradeisos par-ad’-i-sos – of Oriental origin cf odrp, 06508; TDNT-5:765,777; n m
AV-paradise 3; 3
1) among the Persians a grand enclosure or preserve, hunting ground, park, shady and well watered, in which wild animals, were kept for the hunt; it was enclosed by walls and furnished with towers for the hunters
2) a garden, pleasure ground
2a) grove, park
3) the part of Hades which was thought by the later Jews to be the abode of the souls of pious until the resurrection: but some understand this to be a heavenly paradise
4) the upper regions of the heavens. According to the early church Fathers, the paradise in which our first parents dwelt before the fall still exists, neither on the earth or in the heavens, but above and beyond the world
So by New Testament definition of the word paradise as GARDEN and EDEN and GRAND ENCLOSURE, we can see that paradise could very well refer to the Garden of Eden. We also plainly read in scripture that paradise contains the Tree of Life. It would seem that there is no other conclusion which might be true to God’s Holy Word, than that the Earth is indeed hollow and that the original Garden of Eden or Paradise is located on the interior surface of our Earth.
The Abyss can apparently be seen from Paradise and it lies at the center of the sphere of the globe of the Earth. We learned from the story about Lazarus and the Rich Man that though Paradise can be seen from the Abyss and the Abyss can be seen from Paradise, there is yet a great chasm fixed between them which cannot be crossed by the residents of either place. This means that there are at least two separate locations within the interior of the Earth. Could there be a third? We learned above that Cain built a city and that he dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. This would mean that there is a third location within the Earth. It is conceivable that the descendants of Cain still reside within this interior chamber. We know also from the third chapter of Genesis that any humans who might reside in such an interior chamber have NO ACCESS to Paradise.
Genesis 3:22-24 – Then said Yahweh God––Lo! man, hath become like one of us, in respect of knowing good and evil,––Now, therefore, lest he thrust forth his hand, and take even of the tree of life, and eat, and live to times age–abiding,–––– So Yahweh God put him forth from the garden of Eden,––to till the ground wherefrom he had been taken. So he expelled the man,––and caused to dwell––in front of the garden of Eden––cherubim, and a brandishing sword––flame, to keep the way to the tree of life.
The information in this chapter hopefully gives us a much better concept of exactly what paradise and hell and the ABYSS actually are. But before we leave this subject let’s read a few more verses and one more bit of information. The lines in the box just below are an excerpt from the Book of Enoch. Though the Book of Enoch is not a part of the Biblical Canon, it is quoted in the Holy Bible, thus giving it some degree of credibility. The last box contains only scriptural verses.
EXCERPT from the Book of Enoch, Chapters 25 and 31: And I went from thence to the middle of the earth, and I saw a blessed place in which there were trees with branches abiding and blooming……. And I came to the Garden of Righteousness. In this garden I beheld, among other trees, some which were numerous and large, and which flourished there. The tree of knowledge also was there, whose holy fruit they eat and know great wisdom.
Philippians 2:10 – That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
Ezekiel 26:20 – When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living.
Exodus 20:4 – Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Revelation 5:3 – And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
Revelation 5:13 – And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
